Large copper-orange flowers with ruffled petals appear on slender wiry stems above bushy, hairy green foliage from midsummer into September. Â
With its intense colour and larger flower size, this Geum always draws a crowd on our RHS Chelsea Flower Show display, Carol Klein loved it. Â Ideal for a hot themed border, it looks amazing planted in large groups, flowering its socks off for several months, if deadheaded regularly. Â It combines strikingly with jewel colours such as strong purples, pinks, reds and blues, but also with whites for a fresher look. Â Low maintenance, it will grow in most soils in sun or part shade.Â
